How do you make decisions?

This study is being conducted by the Department of Psychology at the Hebrew University. Its goal is to describe how people make decisions.

The research is anonymous, and no identifying details are required. Although you will be asked for your email address, you are not required to do so. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary.

After filling out the short (4-6 minute) online questionnaire, you will get feedback about how you make decisions. You will also get recommendations about how you can change your decision-making strategies to improve the quality of your decisions. However, if the analysis of your responses shows us that you filled out the questionnaire without paying proper attention, no feedback will be provided.

The questionnaire includes 39 statements concerning different facets of a typical decision-making process. For each statement, please think about recent important decisions you made to help you determine the extent to which you agree with the statement. Mark your response on the 7-point scale provided (from 7 – completely agree, . . . . , to 1 – do not agree at all).

Thank you in advance for your time and participation! If you have any questions about this study or would like to get a summary of the results, please contact me directly:itamar.gati@huji.ac.il
